Affected by the floods? Here’s your one-stop guide for relief and assistance
The recent widespread flooding seen in many states in Malaysia is one of the worst ever experienced by the country. Estimates of damage to households and private property and damage sustained by businesses and industries including the destruction of shops, warehouses and factories run into billions of ringgit.
If you have been affected by the floods, crucial flood relief programmes have been launched by the Government, private sector and various organisations to help those affectedare intended to help you get back to your normal lives and ensure that your aspirations whether in business, investments, education and other pursuits are back on track.
Multiply has compiled a list of assistance and relief programmes for your ease of reference.
The various assistance programmes cover both individuals (citizens or permanent residents) and companies (businesses that are registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia).
